You`re Next

Film: You're next
Genre: Terror
Director: Adam Wingard
Actors: AJ Bowen, Joe
Swanberg, Sharni Vinson.
Review:
YOU’RE NEXT
The new film of Adam Wingard was presented in 2011 Toronto film festival. The film have already
been released in USA cinemas, but for the rest of the countries will arrived on
the first days of 2012. This new film has a really good cast, which is
integrated by: AJ Bowen, Joe Swanberg, Sharni Vinson.
The plot takes place at a rural family home where middle-aged Aubrey and
Paul have invited their four adult children and partners to enjoy a weekend,
mix with a lot of food, wine and middle-class disses.
There are surprises, sudden shocks and lot
of laughs. But when you thought the arguments might become a little familiar,
an arrow crashes through the dining room window and plants a lot of uncertainty,
more arrows come flying in and the terrified convocation must organise fast or
face certain death. There is when the main course begins.

The actors were very good, and you ccan see that there have existed a good
relationship between them while they were filming. The story reminds to a fair
old clip, but You're Next, with it dark corners and electronic score in the
background, has already establish itself as the favourite terror film of this
and next year.
As I have said, it is a great film and you must go to the cinema to see it
and absolutely don’t miss it.

Book/ Film: 127 hours
Genre: Drama
Author/ Director: Danny Boyle
Characters/ Actors: James Franco, Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara

Review:

127 Hours it's an american dramatic-suspense genre film based on a real story. It was realized on November 5,2010 after a long effort of Danny Boyle,
the director and Christian Colson, the producer. The protagonist of this film is James Franco, who play the part of Aron Ralston, a young climber who likes to "escape" from the city
in his free time to go to enjoy the landscapes of nature. As secondary actresses, Amber Tamblyn as Megan and Kate Mara as Christie who find Aron in his tragic adventure before the accident.

One weekend, Aron decides to climb, as he used to do it, to clear their problems, however, he didn´t tell anyone where he would go and then that will produce big problems. In his adventure
as a climber, he met two girls, Megan and Chritie, who helps locate and share the afternoon together. Then, Aron decided to resume his own way. While he was exploring, there was a breakdown
that leaves him with his hand stuck on a rock. As the hours go by and he notices that he can't disengaged his hand and the food and water runs out, he will have to taqke a very hard desicion.
During the movie shows all Aron attempts to free the rock, his concern to see that I had no food or water and despair to think that he will die in that place, therefore, he constantly
records a video to his family and friends saying how much he love them and what happens day to day.

While the story is moving, it became a bit long, that makes the film lose emotion because it's too repetitive and makes you want the end quickly.
The set of the film is really good and surprising. The takes of landscapes give the film a high quality.

During the film shows a constant change of cameras, between Director's camera and Aron's camera, that was great and they give a special touch.

In my opinion, 127 hours, it's a very interesting film, with a great and little expected ending, but as I said a bit long for the plot.

Review:

The film is about Will, a prodigy boy in mathematics that starts to work in the maintenance and cleanliness of a university. He was intelligent but always causing many problems with his friends. One day he solved a difficult problem of mathematics that the teacher Gerard Lambó put in the blackboard of the corridor of the university. The teacher begins to look for him until he finds him in the jail, proposes him to go out of there under his guardianship in exchange for solving mathematical problems with him. Will gets knows Skylar, of who falls in love and begins a relation. Because of his behavior, the teacher presents his friend Sean Mcguire, an important psychologist who helps Will during the whole movie with teachings, advices, leading him in the right direction and exploiting his intelligence, removing it from the problems.

The plot is very original, a surprising thing is that the whole script is made by the same actors, Matt Damon and Ben affleck. The performance of Robbie Williams is amazing, he makes the viewer feel like the character, shocking them and making them reflect about their actions when he gave those advices to Will, trying to make him have a better life.

In my opinion is the best movie because it gives an important advice about life, it leaves a trascendental message. It teach us how to be responsables, respecting other people.I recommend to watch in family or whit friends

The Shawshank Redemption

Book/ Film: The Shawshank Redemption
Genre: Drama
Author/ Director: Frank Darabound
Characters/ Actors: Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman and Bob Gunton
Review:

''The Shawshank Redemption'' is a Frank Darabond's american film set in 1994. It is based on the short novel of Stephen King Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption. Tim Robbins, the main character, plays the part of Andy Dufresne, the vice-presiden of a bank, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife and her lover. Ellis boyd "Red" Redding a convict of the prison, who will be Andy's best friend, is played by Morgan Freeman and Bob Gunton plays the part of Norton, the prison's warder .

Andy Dufresne is a bank vice-president cult, attracted by the literature and classical music. The skills made about the murder of his wife and her lover, showed enough evidence to sentence him to death. After a hard time in prison, Andy gains the respect of his fellow inmates, befriend Red, and becomes the right hand of the Warden. He never lost hope in prison, that will make the story has a great ending.

One of the things I most liked in this wonderful film, is the teaching of life that is transmitted to the viewers. It teaches that it is worth fighting to live, although it seems impossible, one must never lose hope, because that's all you have left that they can't take away. And it shows the real friendship between two men.

Despite how beautiful is this story, I do not find many other ways to criticize. Darabound's work, let me wonder, especially since I love these films certainly did a great job. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman are excellent actors. The connection that they did in the movie was very very good. It was very touching to see them act together and especially in a flawless manner, as shown in this film about friendship and values.

In conclusion, I recommend this movie. I loved the plot of the movie, because I found it very moving and entertaining, and performances by Robbins and Freeman gave the only thing missing from this film. Worth seeing this movie, because although many people do not believe it has a great lesson of life.

UNKNOWN

This movie is a thriller film directed by
Jaume Collet-Serra, starring Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, Aidan Quinn, Bruno Ganz, and Frank Langella.
This film is based in the French novel Out of My Head,
His protagonist is Liam Neeson as Dr. Martin Harris in fact he believe that but he isn’t this person.

After an accident he had had in Berlin, Germany, (where he went with his wife for a
biotechnology summit) he woke up the 24th of November after being 4 days in a coma.
But the problem started when he tried to remember what had happened to him, the only thing that he could remember was his “name” Dr. Martin Harris. But in fact it wasn’t, so he escaped from the hospital and started looking for his true identity.

The main actor in this film achieved shown us all the feelings that a person which is in other country without identity and identification could feel, but for me the thing to stand ut is the plot of the movie because it really keeps you in front of the screen all the movie.

To sum up it’s a great movie to see a Saturday night with a lot of pop corns.
I hope you enjoy it as me!

The curious case of Benjamin Button

Book/ Film: The curious case of Benjamin Button

Genre: Fantasy drama-film

Author/ Director: David  Fincher

Characters/ Actors: Cate Blanchett Brad Pitt Julia Ormond

Review:

File:Curious case of benjamin button ver3.jpg
The curious case of Benjamin Button is a David Fincher ´s film. The main actors are Brad Pitt,Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton. Brad Pitt acts as Benjamin Button, Cate Blanchett as
Daisy and Tilda Swinton as Elizabeth Abbott. It is a drama film.

Daisy Williams, an old woman, was in her deathbed in a New Orleans hospital the day that hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans. Near her was her daughter, Caroline. Daisy asked her daughter to read to her the diary of Benjamin Button. This diary tells his complete an extraordinary life, all the diseases he has been diagnosed at birth and the little chance of survival. Thomas Button, his father, abandoned him after the death of his mother. He was raised by a black woman called Queenie. Daisy´s grandmother lived at that home, which is where she first met Benjamin.

This movie is visually remarkable thanks to some groundbreaking special effects. Near the end of the films, Benjamin appears after a long absence and steps into the light looking really young. The special effects were so elaborate and seamlessly integrated that they went virtually unnoticed.

In this movie, the clothing is very beautiful. To make sure they got the clothing right for all the different time periods, the costume designers consulted with Levi´s and used their Vintage clothing line. Nothing could get between the filmmakers and their Levi´s.

In my opinion, Benjamin Button is a long movie, but is like a pleasant dream, with fine acting all around. The special effects are amazing. I applaud the acting of Brad Pitt as Benjamin Button. I think it is the best movie I have ever seen in my short life.
